Capital Markets Attorney 

We are seeking a highly qualified Capital Markets Associate to work in our Hartford, CT office. The Capital Markets associate will have 3 - 6 years (classes 2018 - 2021) of capital markets experience, including IPOs, debt-equity offerings, SEC compliance and disclosures, corporate governance compliance, and general ‘34 Act reporting. Candidates with experience dealing with technology companies are a plus. Superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required. Connecticut State Bar is required.

Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney 

We are seeking a highly qualified M&A associate to work in our Hartford, CT office. The M&A associate will have 3 - 5 years (classes 2019 - 2021) of experience working on complex public and private company mergers and acquisitions and drafting definitive transaction agreements, as well as managing all other aspects of a strategic transaction. Experience with either private equity, joint ventures, venture capital, capital markets, corporate governance, or securities law compliance matters will be considered a plus. All candidates should have industry knowledge in the financial, industrial, energy, technology, and/or life sciences sectors. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, Am Law 100 firm experience, and superb writing and communication skills. Connecticut State Bar is required.

Corporate Insurance Attorney - 01/22

We are seeking a mid-level associate to work at our Hartford, CT office. Our ideal candidate is a ‎3 - 5 year (classes 2019 - 2021) associate at an Am Law 100 firm, with specific insurance industry regulatory and transactional ‎experience, including transactional drafting, reinsurance negotiation, and ‎regulatory research skills.‎ All candidates must have the ability to conduct multi-state insurance specific regulatory research; negotiate and draft insurance industry-specific agreements (e.g. reinsurance agreements, Third-Party Administrator (TPA)/Managing General Agent (MGA) agreements, claims services agreements, etc.); negotiate and draft documents related to insurance industry mergers and acquisitions, and draft and advise on insurance holding company filings. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm experience, and well-developed problem-solving, writing, and communication skills. Connecticut State Bar is required.

Corporate Finance Attorney - 01/22

We are seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Corporate Finance associate to work out of our Hartford, CT office. The associate will have 3 - 5 years (classes 2019 - 2021) of debt finance experience, specifically dealing with the representation of lenders and/or borrowers in connection with single-lender and syndicated credit facilities, venture lending transactions, leveraged buyouts, corporate recapitalizations and reorganizations, and other secured lending transactions. Ideal candidates will have borrower-side and/or private equity experience. Candidates must have Am Law 100 law firm experience, excellent credentials, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Connecticut State Bar is required.

All candidates must be in the top 25% of their graduating class and graduated from one of the top 50 U.S. law schools.

The annualized salary range for all positions is $225,000 - $435,000, based on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience permitted by law, e.g.; (education, training, and responsibilities).
