Energy Transactions Associate

We are seeking a mid-level Energy Transactions Associate to work in our Dubai office. The candidate should have 3 - 5 years (classes 2019 - 2021) of transactional and/or litigation experience in the energy sector. Experience with complex public and private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and drafting definitive transaction agreements, as well as managing all other aspects of a strategic transaction will be considered a plus. We will also consider it a plus to have experience with administrative litigation and regulatory compliance and regulatory support for mergers and acquisitions. Superior academic credentials from a top 50 U.S. law school, Am Law 100 firm experience, and excellent oral and written fluency in English are required. Arabic and/or French fluency is a plus. The candidate must have been admitted to the bar in the U.S. or have the U.K.'s Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) practicing certificate. Washington D.C. Bar is a plus.

Education

All international candidates must be in the top 25% of their graduating class and graduated from one of the top 50 U.S. law schools, top U.K. law schools, or top international law schools. 


Work

All international candidates must have worked for a well-known law firm unless noted otherwise in the job description.
